Somewhere between homeschooling four kids, running a business, and trying to remember why I walked into the room...my brain hit capacity.

So pour that coffee (or hey, no judgment...maybe it's a wine kind of day) and pull up a chair. These days I'm an empty nester rebuilding our home after a tree literally split it in half.

Around here, we talk about the real stuff—home projects that somehow require three trips to Home Depot, staring into the freezer at 5:30 wondering what's for dinner...again, wishing the cashier at the grocery store would card you just to make your day, and all the little decisions that quietly steal more energy than they should.

Because life is complicated enough, let's stop making it harder than it has to be.
